SVTC's Commercialization Services anticipate the challenges of transferring technology into a full-scale production environment. These services leverage the experience of our process engineers to expedite time to revenue while managing rework and other associated costs. Partners may choose their own manufacturing partners or leverage SVTC's Foundry Partner relationships.

SVTC's FastXfer™ Service combines engineering skills, operating procedures and project management capabilities to enable faster and more reliable transfers into volume production.

SVTC's FastXfer includes services critical to commercialization:

• Equipment stability and baseline
• Process stability achieved by:
  • Gauge Repeatability & Reproducibility (GR&R)
  • Passive Data Collection (PDC)
  • Design of Experiments (DOE)
  • Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Process Book Creation and Management – SVTC builds accurate and complete documentation required for technology transfer at a chosen manufacturing facility
• Gap Analysis and Commonality Review – SVTC can assist with the Process Gap Analysis and Commonality Review to ensure the lowest levels of rework during and post transfer
• Test Vehicle – SVTC Engineering Services create test vehicle solutions during the development and transfer stages of a customer's technology development; a test vehicle can aide the customer in creating necessary amounts of performance data and full process debugging
• Qualification Process – The qualification requirements of a customer's chosen manufacturing partner can be navigated in advance by SVTC engineering. Understanding the qualification criteria in advance allows the customer to manage to that criteria during the development stages, thus eliminating unforeseen requirement gaps and delays
• Yield Improvement – Linked to the Qualification Process, Yield Improvement may be required to satisfy foundry operating conditions. SVTC's advanced engineering teams can work on providing technical solutions or improvements that are required to rapidly move the customer's technology to commercialization

SVTC can build an engineering team to handle the transfer of technology from development to high-volume manufacturing in an IP-secure environment. SVTC engineers have proven experience in developing silicon-based processes for manufacturing and can assist in tasks such as GR&R, PDC, DOE and SPC to enable accurate planning and subsequent technical management of the technology being developed for mainstream manufacturing.
