Protection from contamination

SVTC offers the flexibility to process novel materials that are currently being introduced into the latest semiconductor, photovoltaic (PV) and MEMS devices.

Contamination control is one of the central issues facing semiconductor and MEMS fabrication lines. SVTC has introduced strict procedures and protocols to ensure that novel materials can be processed in its facilities without risk of fabrication equipment contamination.

Comprehensive tests are carried in our state-of-the-art analytical labs before new materials are introduced into the fabrication environment. Customer-supplied substrates are subjected to extensive tests before they are cleared for processing in any SVTC facility.
