SVTC Solar: Providing development services for solar manufacturers

SVTC Solar, the newest business unit of SVTC Technologies, was founded to focus and expand the advantages of SVTC Technologies' business model in the fast-growing solar energy industry.

SVTC Solar, through its Silicon Valley Photovoltaic Development Center, is dedicated to providing photovoltaic (PV) manufacturers with a cost-effective, real-time way to develop novel silicon-based and thin-film technologies and accelerate their products' time to market.

SVTC Solar:

• Provides much-needed development equipment and services to make it easier and more cost-effective for PV companies to commercialize new ideas.
• Partners with other key PV development service providers to create an important resource support infrastructure for new and existing manufacturers of solar-related products.
• Addresses the lack of adequate solar-related development facilities in California, as well as the broader need in the solar industry for a new support infrastructure, to match the explosion of development efforts by solar manufacturers.
