SVTC Technologies Announces Strategic Technology Incubation Program With TSMC
Program Will Streamline Transfer of Silicon Technology to Manufacturing
SAN JOSE, Calif. — May 30, 2007 — SVTC Technologies, a process development fab for established and start-up semiconductor companies, today announced a strategic technology incubation program with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) (TAIEX: 2330, NYSE: TSM).
Through this program, TSMC and SVTC will encourage the development of novel silicon ideas in SVTC’s independent and IP-secure fab environment to streamline the potential transfer of the newly developed silicon technology from concept to manufacturing.

On May 21, 2007, SVTC
Technologies announced that it would offer a new service — the
FastXfer™ service — to support its customers who are ready to move into
volume manufacturing. SVTC’s new services will include critical
functions such as documenting the customer’s unique process developed
at SVTC, process qualification, product characterization, and
statistical and yield analysis.
